They develop the ‘Stigmatism’ project. Starting from the concept “astigmatism”, a very common vision defect, they propose the study of stigma to create an awareness campaign that involves focusing and changing the perspective towards people in situations of social vulnerability (homeless, with mental illness, with brain damage, older people, girls and boys at risk of exclusion) and reduce the stigma they suffer.
The project emphasizes that people in vulnerable situations are not the ones who have to integrate, the only ones who have to make efforts to be “normal.” ‘Stigmatism’ seeks to change the focus and put the weight on increasing the capacity that all people can develop to relate to diversity, generating inclusive communities.
